Appointing your executor

Reporting to the Master of the High Court
We report the deceased estate to the Master of the High Court, cutting past red tape and receiving the letter of executorship within three weeks of submission.
Estate duty management
Let us take the stress of managing the liquidation and distribution of the estate’s assets. We’ll document and value the assets, settle creditor accounts and distribute the estate according to Master of the High Court’s instruction.
Issuing notices to creditors
Your appointed executor will inform all the deceased’s creditors of their passing so that each one can institute their claim against the estate within 30 days. We also register the estate with SARS to avoid potential comebacks in the years to come.
Fulfilling obligations to SARS
Allow Adapt to file your loved one’s final tax return, from the first of the current financial year to date of death, to ensure full and final compliance with SARS.
Application for various endorsements
If your loved one co-owned property, we apply for the necessary endorsements to amend the title deed’s ownership into the name of the surviving family member.
Sale of immovable property

Correspondence and communication
